There's nothing to download from the App Store — Caddi runs in your phone's web browser.

1. Open the link your organiser sent you (it looks like caddigolf.app/your-trip).
2. Sign in with your email.
3. Add Caddi to your home screen so it opens like a normal app from then on (see below).

Tip: On the trip, everything lives in Caddi — itinerary, tee times and groupings, live scoring and the leaderboard, rooms, polls and more.

The first time, open your trip link and follow the prompts — depending on how your organiser set things up you will either choose a password, or get a sign-in email with a 6-digit code and a tap-to-sign-in link. Use whichever is easier.

After that, you just sign in with your email and password. If you have not set a password yet, tap "First time signing in? Set your password" on the sign-in screen and follow the steps.

Tip: Open the sign-in email on the same phone you are signing in on — then tapping the link is the easiest path.

• Check your spam / junk folder.
• Make sure you typed the same email address your organiser used to invite you.
• Wait a minute and request the code again — only the most recent code works.

Good to know: Still stuck? Ask your organiser to confirm the email on your invite, or email us at hello@caddigolf.app.

No — set a password once and you can skip the email code from then on. You do it right from the sign-in screen:

1. Go to the sign-in screen and tap "First time signing in? Set your password".
2. Enter your email — you will get a link to set your password.
3. Tap the link, choose a password, and you are in.

After that, just sign in with your email and password — no code needed.

Use the Safari browser (most reliable on iPhone).

1. Open Caddi in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add in the top-right corner.

Tip: On iOS 16.4 and newer, Chrome and Edge also work — tap their Share button, then Add to Home Screen. Safari is still the most reliable.

Most Android phones (Chrome): open Caddi in Chrome, tap the menu (three dots, top-right), tap Install app (or Add to Home screen), then tap Install to confirm.

Samsung phones (Samsung Internet): open Caddi, tap the menu (three lines, bottom-right), tap Add page to, then Home screen (or Install).

Enter your handicap manually in your Caddi profile.

Good to know: Use your handicap number — not your Golf Link / Golf Australia (GA) ID number. Caddi doesn't auto-pull handicaps from Golf Australia yet. Your organiser may need to approve your handicap before it counts.

When you sign up you are asked "Which tees do you play?" — Men's or Ladies'. Men's plays off the white tees; Ladies' off the red.

You can change your choice later in your profile, and your organiser can override it for a round if needed.

Open your profile from your avatar in the top-right, then add or upload your photo. It shows next to your name on groupings and the leaderboard.

During a round you enter your scores hole by hole, right on your phone.

Whether the leaderboard updates live, stays hidden until your organiser reveals it, or is switched off entirely is the organiser’s call. You’ll find it under Scores or Leaderboard when it’s on.

Tap your avatar in the top-right and choose My Trips. From there you can jump between any trips you are on and accept any invites waiting for you.

• Polls & RSVPs — when your organiser opens a poll (say, for a dinner), you vote with one tap right on the trip.
• Rooms — see where you are staying and who you are with, if your organiser has set rooms up.
• Expenses — track and settle shared costs, if your organiser uses it.
• The field — see who else is coming on the trip.

Caddi updates often, so an old version may be cached on your phone. Try, in order:

1. Close and reopen Caddi.
2. Hard refresh in your browser — on a Mac, hold Shift and click the refresh button.
3. Still stuck? Remove the home-screen icon and add it again from your trip link.

Use the Share trip button in the top bar of your trip admin. It shares your trip link (e.g. caddigolf.app/your-trip) straight to the group — WhatsApp, Messages, email, wherever your crew talks.

They open the link and sign in. To invite one person directly, use the Invite action on their row in the Roster instead.

You choose how players get onto your trip. There are three modes:

• Open — anyone with the link can register themselves and take a spot.
• Request — players ask to join and you approve them.
• Invite-only — there is no public sign-up form; people get on only when you invite them.

Add them on your Roster, then send the invite.

Good to know: Can't add anyone new? Check your seats / player limit — if you've used all your paid seats, you'll be prompted to add more.

Your roster is free to build — you only pay for seats when you invite players. Re-inviting someone who is already on the trip should not cost a seat: use Share trip, or the resend on their row, rather than re-adding them.

If you are inviting a genuinely new player and you have used all your paid seats, that is when the seat prompt appears. Top up and the invite goes through.

Tip: Still seeing it unexpectedly? Do a hard refresh (Shift + refresh on a Mac). If it persists, email hello@caddigolf.app and we'll sort it.

Use Share trip to send the trip link again, or the resend on the player’s row in the Roster. No need to re-add them.

A trip can have more than one organiser, so a colleague can go in and update things too. You can invite them yourself:

1. Open the Organisers page from your trip admin.
2. Tap Invite organiser and enter their email.
3. They get an email that makes them an organiser as soon as they sign in.

You can resend or cancel a pending invite, and remove an organiser, from the same page.

Tip: Prefer us to set it up? Email their name and email to hello@caddigolf.app. Happy to give a new organiser a quick walk around the platform too — just ask.

Players enter their handicap manually — their handicap number, not their Golf ID / Golf Link number. You can approve each handicap before it counts.

Good to know: Caddi can't auto-pull handicaps from Golf Australia yet — that integration is a longer piece of work, still on the roadmap.

Scoring is built in — set up your rounds, groupings and tee times, and players enter scores on their phones during play.

You decide how the leaderboard behaves:

• Live — the board updates as scores come in.
• Reveal — scores stay hidden until you publish them; you can publish round by round.
• Off — no leaderboard is shown at all.

Each player picks Men's or Ladies' tees at signup — Men's plays the white tees, Ladies' the red. You can override a player's tee for a round if you need to.

Yes — and you don't have to build them by hand. On a round, tap Auto-generate groups: choose how you want people grouped, check the preview, drag anyone to a different group, then save.

• Mix it up — spreads the field so people play with someone new.
• Leaderboard order — the leaders go out together in the last group.
• Even handicaps — each group gets a similar mix.
• Tiered — similar handicaps play together.

You can also set pairing rules to keep two players together, or apart, in every round — and pin someone so a reshuffle never moves them.

Prefer to do it by hand? Add tee times and drop players into them yourself. Either way, you can edit any group or tee time at any time.

At the moment draws and groupings are set up within Caddi. If you already have a draw or order-of-play file, send it through and we will help get it loaded in for you.

Add a poll for the thing you want people to RSVP to (say, Tuesday and Wednesday night dinners). Once it is open, players RSVP with one tap inside Caddi — and polls can show right on the itinerary.

Tip: Open the poll, then send a reminder for anyone who has not jumped in yet.

The cleanest way is to open the poll and ask everyone to RSVP themselves, so the count stays accurate.

If you already have a list of confirmed yeses, send it to us and we can help record those responses for now.

Yes — send us your itinerary (a PDF is fine, along with any player and flight spreadsheets) and we will load it into your trip: trip details, players, courses and the day-by-day schedule.

Tip: Email it to hello@caddigolf.app and we'll build it out for you.

Yes. We can export your full itinerary as a PDF in two versions — a screen edition and a lighter print edition (better if guests are printing it). Handy as a fallback for anyone not yet on the app. Just ask.

Yes — you can preview your trip exactly as a player sees it, so you can check the experience before and during the trip.

Yes — you can add trip-specific FAQs that your players see on your trip (things like dress code, transport, what to bring). That is separate from this Help page, which covers how Caddi itself works.
