Terms of Use

Welcome to Caddi, the golf trip companion app. These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Caddi. By creating an account, signing in, or using Caddi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who can use Caddi

You must be at least 13 years old. If under 18, only with a parent or guardian's permission. You confirm your information is true and that you are allowed to join the trip or group you sign up for.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and anything done under it. Keep your login private. Tell us if someone else uses your account. You can sign in with email + password, a one-time email code, Sign in with Apple, or Google.

3. Content you post

Caddi lets you post photos, comments and other content to your trip feed and profile. You keep ownership. By posting, you give us permission to store it and show it to other members of your trip or group so the app works. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it.

4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Caddi. You agree not to post, share or send content that is: unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing or bullying; hateful or discriminatory; defamatory, obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit; violent or encouraging violence or self-harm; an invasion of privacy including sharing someone's private information or photos without consent; infringing anyone's rights; or spam, a scam or deceptive. You also agree not to harass, bully, impersonate, threaten or abuse any other user. We may remove content and suspend or permanently remove the account of anyone who breaks these rules, without notice. When you report content, we aim to review it and act within 24 hours.

5. How we keep Caddi safe

We filter content on upload (photos and posts are automatically checked; anything that may break these rules is held for review before it appears). Every post and comment has a Report option. You can block any user, which hides their content from you immediately and notifies us. We remove content and users that break these rules.

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time from your profile. Deleting removes your personal information, photos and posts. Scores you have already recorded may remain on your trip's leaderboards shown as a deleted player, so other players' results are not changed. Deletion is permanent.

7. Ending access

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we need to for legal or safety reasons.

8. The app is provided "as is"

We provide Caddi "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for content posted by other users, and to the extent allowed by law are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make a significant change we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Caddi after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
