1. Who we are

Caddi is operated by Gather Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 46 695 159 463), a company registered in New South Wales, Australia. In this policy, "we", "us", and "Caddi" refer to Gather Technologies Pty Ltd.

2. What we collect

We collect the following personal information when you use Caddi:

Account information: name, email address, and phone number provided during registration or when added to a trip by an organiser.

Profile photos: images you upload yourself, or images uploaded on your behalf by a trip organiser. By participating in a trip on Caddi, you acknowledge that your trip organiser may upload a profile photo of you for roster and leaderboard display purposes. You may replace or remove your own photo at any time by logging in and updating your profile.

Trip data: scores, itinerary responses, poll votes, expense records, travel details, and other information you provide while participating in a trip.

Payment information: payment transactions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We receive confirmation of payment status and transaction amounts from Stripe.

Usage data: we collect basic analytics about how you interact with the platform to improve the service.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

Provide and operate the Caddi platform, including trip management, scoring, leaderboards, itineraries, and communication between trip participants. Process payments through Stripe. Send transactional emails such as sign-in links, registration confirmations, and trip updates. Improve and develop the platform.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate Caddi:

Supabase — database hosting and authentication (hosted in Australia). Stripe — payment processing. Vercel — application hosting. Resend — transactional email delivery.

Your trip organiser and other members of your trip can see your name, profile photo, scores, and other trip-related data you contribute. This visibility is inherent to the purpose of the platform.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on servers operated by Supabase, with the primary database located in Australia. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access data they are authorised to see. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

6. Cookies

Caddi uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. If you are a trip participant, you can update your profile and photo by logging in. For data deletion requests, contact us at privacy@caddigolf.app.

If you believe your trip organiser has uploaded a photo of you without your consent, you may replace it yourself by logging into your account, or contact us to have it removed.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
