Delete your account

About this app

Caddi is a golf-trip management app operated by Gather Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 46 695 159 463), a company registered in New South Wales, Australia. This page explains how to delete your Caddi account and what happens to your data when you do.

Delete your account from inside the app

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from the Caddi app or website:

1. Sign in to Caddi.
2. Tap your profile photo in the top-right corner, then choose Profile.
3. Scroll to the Account section at the bottom of the page.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. In the confirmation dialog, type DELETE and tap Delete my account.

This removes your account immediately and cannot be undone. Deleting your account removes you from every trip and group you belong to.

If you can't access the app

If you're unable to sign in, you can ask us to delete your account on your behalf. Email us at privacy@caddigolf.app from the email address on your account and we'll process the request for you.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following and it cannot be recovered:

Your sign-in (login) and the ability to access the account; your personal details — name, email address, phone number, and golf / handicap (GA) number; your profile photo; any photos you uploaded; and your social posts, comments, and likes. We also remove your push-notification device registrations, your group memberships, and any pending invitations you had created for other people.

What is kept, and why

Your past scores and rounds stay on the leaderboards of trips you've played. This is deliberate: removing them would rewrite the results and standings of the other players you competed against. Once your account is deleted, this history is anonymised — your name is replaced with "Deleted player" and your personal details are stripped from it, so the record can no longer be tied back to you.

For a small number of administrative and audit records (for example, a note that a handicap or payment status was changed), we keep the record but remove your identity as the person who made the change.

Retention

Removal of your login and personal information happens immediately when you confirm deletion in the app (or when we process an emailed request). The anonymised competitive history described above is retained indefinitely so that other players' leaderboards remain intact; it no longer contains any information that identifies you.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Records we're required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons are retained only as long as the law requires, in line with our Privacy Policy.
